Data sources
ShiftMap layers public data on top of its job listings so workers can plan a shift. The sources used for each overlay are listed below.
Parking
ShiftMap may display parking context derived from OpenStreetMap data. OpenStreetMap data is available under the Open Database License (ODbL). See the OpenStreetMap copyright and attribution page for full terms.
Parking data may be incomplete. Always check posted signs before parking. ShiftMap does not claim that any street segment is guaranteed free, currently available, or legal at all times.
- Likely free parking — derived from OpenStreetMap street and parking tags. Cautious indicator only.
- Parking garages and lots — drawn from the OpenFreeMap Positron basemap, which is built from OpenStreetMap data.
Transit
Rail routes, rail stations, bus routes, and bus stops are derived from the MARTA GTFS static feed. ShiftMap does not show live arrivals — check MARTA for schedules and real-time information.
