Responsibilities Lead and supervise the bar team to deliver outstanding service, ensuring all guests receive a memorable experience. Oversee daily bar operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and maintaining cleanliness standards. Develop and refine beverage menus, including signature cocktails, wine pairings, craft beers, and spirits to appeal to diverse tastes. Train staff on POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing and cash handling. Manage cash transactions accurately, process payments swiftly, and reconcile daily sales reports. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and alcohol service regulations while promoting responsible beverage service. Coordinate with kitchen staff for food and beverage pairing during special events or banquets. Monitor inventory levels of spirits, wine, beer, and mixers; place orders to prevent shortages while minimizing waste. Foster a positive team environment through coaching, motivation, and ongoing development opportunities. Maintain detailed records of sales, employee schedules, and incident reports to support smooth operations. Experience Proven experience managing a busy bar or restaurant environment with strong leadership skills. Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, brewing processes, and spirits. Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently. Demonstrated ability to develop beverage recipes and create innovative drink menus that attract customers. Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence in fine dining or upscale settings. Familiarity with food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices. Previous experience managing inventory control, cash handling, and sales reporting. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
