We're known for elevated comfort food, exceptional hospitality, and a kitchen that runs with precision. We're looking for a strong Kitchen Expo to be the connective tissue between our kitchen and our guests — the person who makes sure every plate leaves the pass exactly right, exactly on time. What You'll Do Run the expo station during high-volume brunch service, calling tickets and pacing the kitchen Quality-check every plate for accuracy, presentation, and temperature before it leaves the pass Communicate directly with FOH to keep timing tight between kitchen and dining room Catch and correct errors before they reach the guest — you're the last line of defense Coordinate with line cooks to keep ticket times on pace during peak rushes Maintain plate presentation standards consistent with our brand Keep the pass organized, clean, and stocked throughout service Support kitchen leadership with day-to-day service flow and problem-solving in real time What We're Looking For Previous experience as an expo, kitchen lead, or similar high-volume BOH/FOH-adjacent role Rock-solid multitasking skills — you can track a dozen tickets at once without losing your cool A sharp eye for detail and presentation Clear, confident communicator who can direct a team under pressure Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume brunch environment Team-first attitude with a strong sense of urgency Food handler certification (or willingness to obtain) Weekend availability required (brunch is our busiest service) Why Barney's Competitive pay plus tip-out structure A well-run kitchen with real systems, training, and support — not chaos Growth opportunities within a growing restaurant group A team that takes hospitality and craft seriously Pay: From $20.00 per hour Work Location: In person
