We’re a fresh, modern concept blending a chef‑driven deli with a self‑serve wine‑tasting experience featuring 48 wines on tap from around the world. If you love hospitality, enjoy connecting with people, and get excited about wine and food, you’ll fit right in. What You’ll Do As a Wine Tender, you’ll be the friendly face that sets the tone for each guest’s experience. You will: Welcome guests with genuine warmth and guide them through our self‑serve wine‑tasting concept. Learn and operate the Toast POS system to check guests in, issue enomatic wine dispenser cards, and cash them out. Stay familiar with our wines and retail offerings so you can answer questions and make great recommendations. Upsell food, wine, and retail items in a natural, hospitality‑driven way. Highlight at least one Taste event, activation, or program (Wine Club, Loyalty, Vinoversity) with each guest. Refill and maintain enomatic wine dispensers and beverage stations. Keep retail shelves tidy, stocked, and visually appealing. Assist with beverage prep—mixing, portioning, and assembling drinks to standard. Monitor temperatures and quality for beverages like Sangria, Mimosas, and Frozees. Support the team by bussing tables, cleaning glassware, and maintaining a spotless bar and seating area. Communicate with chefs and managers about specials, shift details, inventory, and any guest needs. Work side‑by‑side with the kitchen team to deliver a seamless Taste experience. What We’re Looking For Authorized to work in the U.S. Reliable own transportation, other than mass transit Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to speak, read, and understand English Excellent personal cleanliness and hygiene Basic math skills Ability to taste food and beverages to understand flavor profiles Ability to memorize and follow recipes Comfortable using FDA‑approved cleaning chemicals Ability to work in wet and dry conditions Comfort with kitchen and beverage equipment Ability to stand/walk 8–10 hours and lift up to 50 lbs Ability to bend, stoop, twist, squat, reach, climb, and use ladders Repetitive hand and arm motion capability References from former managers and employers Preferred: Wine Certifications, i.e. WSET Toast POS experience SERV Safe certification Why You’ll Love Working With Us Taste Wine Bar & Market is committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued.
