ABOUT YOU: You have a passion for food and beverage and possess a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. A post-secondary diploma or degree is a plus. Hotel Operational experience is a plus. You have advanced knowledge of mixology and beverage operations, are a strong leader, and have a proven record of engaging guests and team members while achieving financial success. You excel in both verbal and written communication. You are adaptable and willing to meet the demands of a full-time operation. ABOUT US... Necessary Purveyor was established in Miami, FL, in 2018. Initially starting as a well-known sandwich shop in our city, we are now evolving into a full-scale restaurant and market. Our Atlanta operation plans to accommodate 400 Hotel Rooms, 3 meal segments, and a market style concept approach. The people we work with are the most vital part of our daily operations. Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced, charismatic Lead Bartender to oversee bar operations and uphold the highest standards of hospitality. The ideal candidate is passionate about mixology, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can lead a team with energy, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence. Responsibilities: Lead and mentor the bar team, ensuring high performance and consistency Craft and serve innovative cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages Manage bar inventory, ordering, and stock rotation Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Train new bartenders and support ongoing team development Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area Collaborate with the management and culinary teams to update seasonal cocktail menus Deliver outstanding guest service and foster a welcoming bar environment Handle guest inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure satisfaction Qualifications: 2+ years of bartending experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and mixology techniques Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays Current alcohol service certification (e.g., TIPS or equivalent) preferred Perks & Benefits: Competitive PAY + TIPS Opportunities for advancement within a growing hospitality group Staff meals and discounts Dynamic team and supportive work culture Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Contract Pay: $5.00 - $12.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Shift: 10 hour shift 8 hour shift Day shift Evening shift Work Location: In person
