Duties Operate the cash register efficiently, handling retail sales transactions with accuracy and speed using POS (Point of Sale) systems Provide outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and assisting with product selections and demos Upsell products and promote store specials to maximize sales opportunities Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including stocking shelves and merchandising displays to enhance store presentation Handle cash drawer operations with precision, ensuring proper cash handling and reconciliation at shift end Demonstrate product knowledge through engaging product demos and explaining features to customers Use excellent phone etiquette when addressing inquiries or assisting customers remotely Experience Previous cashiering experience in a retail environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Bilingual skills are a plus, enabling effective communication with a diverse customer base Familiarity with POS systems, retail math, and cash register operations is advantageous Strong communication skills to engage confidently with customers and team members Supervising experience in retail or customer service roles is beneficial for growth opportunities Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory management Knowledge of retail store product offerings and merchandising techniques enhances customer interactions Join us in creating memorable shopping experiences!
