Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items with precision, adhering to recipes and presentation standards. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, braising pots, poaching tools, and food prep stations. Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitizing procedures to ensure a clean and safe environment. Assist in menu planning by suggesting new ideas and ensuring ingredient availability for daily operations. Handle food production tasks such as food handling, portioning, and meal assembly for high-volume service. Ensure proper food storage, rotation, and inventory management to minimize waste. Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service in a lively trailer setting while maintaining a positive attitude. Qualifications Previous experience as a dietary aide or in a food service role within a fast-paced environment. Strong culinary skills including grilling, braising, poaching, and knife techniques. Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures. Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and high-volume food production. Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, fryers, and food prep tools. Background in fine dining or restaurant environments is a plus. Excellent food handling skills combined with a passion for quality meal preparation. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a mobile setting.
