We are seeking host, servers, and service assistants. WE are hosting interviews at the Taffer's Tavern in Midtown this Thursday 8/ 6 anytime between 4:30pm- 7:30pm . Please ask for the service manager upon arrival. OPEN Interviews for Alpharetta this Wednesday 8/5 anytime between 2pm-6pm. We are seeking an energetic personnel to join our vibrant restaurant team! You will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through friendly service, expert knowledge, and efficient operations. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will create memorable dining moments for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed, valued, and satisfied. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary passion, sales skills, and commitment to outstanding hospitality in a lively environment. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing prompt and attentive seating assistance as a Host/Hostess if needed Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and completeness Serve food and drinks with precision, including cocktail and beverage service, while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards Upsell menu items like wines, spirits, or specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales revenue Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently, including sales transaction processing and cash handling responsibilities Maintain knowledge of menu items, including wine knowledge and food preparation details, to answer guest questions confidently Support food safety protocols by adhering to sanitation guidelines, assisting with bussing tables, and ensuring a clean dining environment Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly for optimal guest relations Qualifications Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus; experience with OpenTable is advantageous Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude and excellent communication abilities Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing time efficiently Knowledge of beverage service, spirits experience, wine knowledge, and cocktail preparation is desirable Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing bills confidently Experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments is beneficial but not required Commitment to food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Join us to deliver memorable dining experiences where your passion for hospitality shines!
